Solution Engineer

• You have a HBO or WO degree in, for example, Mechanical Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or Mechatronics.
• You have 3 to 5 years of experience with process improvement in a technical or logistical environment.
• Experience with mechanization, software, and processes in a warehouse.
• Strong in stakeholder management and clear communication.
• Analytical, practical, and solution-oriented.

You look at how the Returns department gets the most out of conveyor belts, automated storage, and returns software. Using process mapping and data, you calculate the impact of increasing volumes, peaks, or new processes on capacity and throughput. You also investigate how handovers with the rest of the warehouse can be further automated. Together with engineers, process managers, and stakeholders, you develop improvements that result in faster processing and less downtime. In this way, you make returns at Coolblue a little bit better every day.
