Site Supervisor - Utility

At Klein Poelhuis Projecten, we are looking for a Site Supervisor who knows what is required on the construction site to ensure a utility project runs smoothly. You are close to the work, keep a sharp eye on progress, and ensure that technicians know what needs to be done. With your technical knowledge and practical attitude, you provide structure, quality, and pleasant cooperation on the work floor. Where necessary, you also take on a hands-on role.

As a Site Supervisor, you are the point of contact on the construction site. You coordinate daily activities, maintain an overview of the planning, and ensure that the installation work is carried out according to agreement. You work closely with the project manager, work planner, technicians, and other involved parties.

You are not someone who only directs from the sidelines. You know the trade, think ahead, and jump in yourself when the situation calls for it. You identify bottlenecks before they become problems, coordinate activities well with one another, and ensure that everyone can work safely and efficiently.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Daily directing and supervising of technicians and subcontractors on the construction site;

• Coordinating and monitoring the progress of electrotechnical and/or mechanical engineering activities;

• Translating the planning into a practical division of labor on the construction site;

• Monitoring quality, safety, and correct execution of the installations;

• Coordinating activities with project management, work planning, and other disciplines;

• Identifying and solving technical and organizational bottlenecks;

• Checking materials, tools, and necessary facilities;

• Maintaining contact with the client and other parties on the construction site;

• Personally assisting in the execution when necessary.
