As a Mechanical Engineering Estimator, you will get the chance to put your own spin on the design of the pricing process. Together with your colleagues, you will design work processes. Nexton is looking for an experienced Estimator in Zaandam.

As a Mechanical Engineering Estimator, you are the financial conscience for the mechanical engineering disciplines. You hold ultimate responsibility for accurate cost estimates and actively contribute to experience figures, so that our estimates become even more precise. You make use of your network and know the market players within commercial building well.

You will primarily work on projects where Nexton can truly make a difference - not on standard specification works, but on innovative integrated projects. In this role, you will work closely with your team.

You are open to exploring the boundaries of digitizing the design and estimation process together with colleagues. This not only makes your work more efficient but also enables you to focus on the aspects that truly matter in cost formation.

Nexton (approximately 280 employees) has been part of Dura Vermeer Division Techniek since November 2022 and consists of a group of independent companies focusing on advice, design, product development, execution, and maintenance of (building-related) installations. As an integrated technical service provider, Nexton adds value in the fields of smart buildings, energy transition, circularity, sustainability, and as-a-service concepts. Nexton Zaandam provides the foundation for a smart building. Due to current construction methods and insulation possibilities, less energy is needed to heat an object. But at the same time, more is needed to realize the required air ventilation. Nexton offers energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions. To optimally maintain the lifespan and effectiveness of these applications, regular maintenance is of great importance.

We offer maintenance in various contract forms:

• preventive maintenance

• preventive and corrective maintenance

• performance maintenance

• You prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical engineering installations in non-residential projects. You work with current market information and technical data;

• You actively contribute to the collection and analysis of historical data from completed projects. This ensures that future estimates become increasingly precise;

• You optimize your projects financially and technically, together with technical developers and colleagues. You look for efficiency improvements and cost savings without loss of quality;

This role offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic team of experienced professionals. The team consists mainly of experienced technicians who want to be more challenged.

You will work on challenging installation technology projects in commercial building. The team has an extraordinary interest in new technologies and innovative solutions.

•  You have demonstrable experience as an Estimator within the mechanical engineering discipline;
