Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer, you are responsible for designing and developing new mechanical solutions as well as maintaining and improving existing systems. You will work on diverse technical challenges and play an important role in translating ideas into well-founded and manufacturable designs.

In this versatile role, you will be involved in, among other things:

• Designing and developing mechanical parts and systems in 3D

• Performing (strength) calculations to technically substantiate designs

• Developing production drawings

• Managing and maintaining versions of mechanical designs

• Creating 3D prototypes using a 3D printer

• Preparing incoming inspections of mechanical parts

• Assembling and testing prototypes

• Updating and managing technical documentation

Additionally, you are responsible for the release of designs and ensure that changes and versions are carefully recorded. In doing so, you contribute to the quality, reliability, and further development of our products and systems.

You will join a technical and versatile role in which you will receive plenty of space to apply your knowledge and ideas. You will work on concrete technical solutions and see your designs actually reflected in prototypes and ultimately in our systems.

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical education

• Experience with SolidWorks, preferably including PDM

• Knowledge of AutoCAD

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written

• Good communication skills

• An accurate and structured way of working

• The ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
