(Senior) Associate Public Law

We would love to get in touch with candidates who:

• Have 3 to 10 years of experience as a lawyer within administrative law, preferably with knowledge of environmental law, private law and/or public law - knowledge of energy law is a plus
• Have a substantive focus on general administrative law, administrative procedural law, environmental law, environmental law, public law enforcement and/or Public ESG, with an emphasis on environment and the energy transition
• Have experience with litigation before the administrative court
• Possess legal depth and a practical, solution-oriented attitude
• Have a strong sense of entrepreneurship
• Are a convincing and energetic personality
• Have the ambition to further develop yourself and to work in an international context
• Have excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written

For our Litigation & Regulatory practice group, we are looking for an ambitious and driven Associate or Senior Associate Public Law/administrative law with a passion for and affinity with the sustainability aspects of ESG.

Our Public Law/administrative law team is part of the Litigation & Regulatory practice group and works closely with our specialists in Real Estate, Construction Law, Project Finance, and Energy. Within our close-knit, enthusiastic, and ambitious team, you will combine advisory work with dynamic litigation practice. You will be closely involved in (real estate) transactions, leading area developments, and advisory and permitting processes in the field of energy projects and public-private disputes.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advising and litigating on various topics within administrative law
• Collaborating within a dynamic practice group, where you coach and guide (junior) associates and working students
• Working closely with colleagues from other practice groups, both locally and internationally
• A leading role in advising clients, with a directing role towards colleagues and specialists
• Building your own client base and contributing to the growth of the practice group
