The role

We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller who can play a key role within our international credit management hub. In this senior position, you will be responsible for credit management for the Benelux and will work closely with local teams, the shared service center, and international stakeholders.

The role focuses on the entire order-to-cash chain: assessing creditworthiness, actively following up on outstanding items, and monitoring and critically evaluating the collection strategy. You will take ownership of your accounts, adjust direction towards Cash Management where necessary, and act as a strong interlocutor for Partners and internal teams in an international working environment.

Do you want to contribute to the further development of this role and work in a dynamic, international setting? Then we look forward to receiving your application!

What you'll do

  • Responsible for managing the Benelux portfolio of outstanding receivables, in line with the organization's international credit policy, with the aim of achieving the Benelux cash collection targets in close cooperation with other team members.
  • Ensuring accurate, concise, and up-to-date notes in the credit control system, so that the current debtor position is correctly represented to support daily follow-up (dunning) and internal reporting.
  • The timely identification and resolution of customer disputes, in close cooperation with clients, the Billing Team, Partners, other stakeholders, and team members, in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Supporting Partners in all aspects of credit control, aimed at achieving both firm-wide and personal KPIs. This includes regularly organizing online or physical meetings and contributing to departmental projects and development initiatives.
  • Supporting your manager with ad-hoc tasks, recurring monthly activities, and/or team projects, in collaboration with the wider team.
  • Assisting in monitoring the Benelux mailboxes and efficiently distributing incoming emails, in coordination with team members where necessary.

About you

  • 3-5 years of experience in credit control within a target-driven environment, with a proactive attitude and experience working with international and multicultural teams. Experience within legal or other professional services is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to set priorities and manage your tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, both verbal and written, enabling you to switch professionally and persuasively with internal and external stakeholders, including Partners; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • A self-starter and team player, who can work independently while simultaneously contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.
  • The ability to function well in a dynamic and demanding working environment, with a focus on achieving team and organizational objectives.
  • Extensive experience with credit control systems, and strong Excel and reporting skills for monitoring outstanding items.

Apply

Are you accurate, proactive, and ready for a next step within an international organization where quality, collaboration, and professionalism are central? Then we would like to meet you. Apply directly!

A salary scale applies to this position with a maximum of € 55,000.00 per year on a full-time basis, depending on experience, knowledge, and skills.
