As a Youth Professional at Scala, you work close to children, young people, and families, making a visible difference every day. Behind every request for help lies a story. And you seek the appropriate support that is needed at that moment.
As a youth professional, you work with your own caseload and guide children, young people, and families with parenting and upbringing issues. You work in a solution-oriented manner and strengthen families with the goal of empowering them. In doing so, you work intensively with the family's own network, colleagues, behavioral scientists, and partners in the neighborhood. Within Scala, we work with four different teams/phases: access, analysis, assistance, and coordination.
Depending on your role and expertise, you will work within one of the phases.
Access Team: You perform the initial screening, explore the request for help together with the family, and advise whether the request for help is appropriate within the neighborhood team. (Temporarily filled)
Analysis Team: You analyze the request for help and the family situation, write a support plan, and provide advice regarding appropriate assistance. (Temporarily filled)
Assistance Team: You take action and offer methodical assistance, following the guidelines (Youth Care and Youth Protection). You guide, support, and take initiative where necessary.
Coordination Team: You are responsible for monitoring care in secondary services. You actively conduct evaluation interviews with youths, parents, and care providers. You scale up or down in a timely manner.
