Manager Internal Audit

• a completed university degree;
• at least six years of relevant work experience;
• a CIA certification or another relevant professional qualification, or the ambition to obtain one.

You are a strong sparring partner, see opportunities, translate complex issues into practical solutions, and help clients take their Internal Audit function to a higher level. At the same time, you monitor the progress and quality of audits and inspire, guide, and coach multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best results together.

As a Manager Internal Audit, you are entrepreneurial and get energy from innovating and improving our services. You follow developments in the market and within the field closely and incorporate these into your work. In addition, you get the space to apply your interests and expertise, for example in the areas of behavior, AI, and other digital developments. You also contribute to identifying new market opportunities, further developing client relationships, and ensuring continuity with existing and potential relationships.

You work for a diverse, nationally and internationally oriented client portfolio within, among others, the financial sector, real estate, healthcare, and other medium-sized companies. With your experience in the field of risk management and control, operational business processes, relevant laws and regulations, and perhaps also an affinity with IT & information security, you discuss risks with clients and advise on appropriate control measures within the process. In this way, you build sustainable client relationships and create visible value with solutions that align with current and future developments.

Internal Audit is one of the four pillars within BDO Risk Advisory, alongside Cybersecurity, Forensics & Technology, and Risk & Compliance. Together, as a multidisciplinary team, we build future-oriented solutions for our clients.
