What you'll do

As an Accountant, you are responsible for your own client portfolio. You advise, prepare annual accounts, and supervise compilation engagements. In doing so, you act as an important link between the client and the specialist and build long-term relationships based on trust and craftsmanship.

You play an active role both within and outside our office. You share your knowledge with colleagues and the region, thereby not only helping clients further but also contributing to the development of the team. As a mentor, you coach colleagues and stimulate a high standard of quality. In Wageningen, the focus is on clients in the healthcare sector, but experience in this industry is not a requirement—your commitment, knowledge, and drive make the difference.

Where will you work?

In 100 years, Countus has grown into the leading accounting and advisory organization in four sectors: Agro & Agri, Healthcare, Recreation & Hospitality, and SMEs. We work from 25 branches, which means we are close to our clients. We advise clients regarding annual accounts, tax returns, payroll administration, and acquisitions. Additionally, our Expertise Teams support entrepreneurs throughout the Netherlands from our head office in Zwolle. They also serve as sparring partners for colleagues at local branches. Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Accountant who derives energy from client contact and building sustainable relationships. You feel responsible for your work, are accurate, and possess sharp advisory skills. Within Countus, you will be given the space and trust to organize your work in your own way.

What do you bring?

A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Accountancy;
An obtained AA title;
At least 2 years of experience in a compilation department;
Strong communication skills and experience (or ambition) in client advisory;
Knowledge of FDS and Audition is a plus;
A fresh, client-oriented perspective and the ability to think strategically.
