Young professional Track Data Engineer

Recently graduated and ready to do something real with data? Do you already have some experience with Data Engineering and want to further develop yourself into a true data expert? Then the Young Professional Track Data Engineering at Sogeti is your chance to make an impact! During this period, you will learn how to use data smartly to help organizations grow. You will work with the latest technologies, earn recognized certifications, and gain experience at clients.

Together with other starters, you will work on challenging assignments, receive coaching, and develop skills such as collaboration, communication, and personal leadership. Two weeks full of growth and connection. After that, you will start a substantive training program in which you further develop yourself as a Data Engineer. You will learn to work with modern tools and techniques and immediately obtain relevant certifications.

After two months of training, the time has come: you go into the field! Together, we will look at which assignment suits you best. You will be seconded to large Dutch organizations, where you will start working as a Data Engineer. You help clients to make optimal use of their data. Depending on the assignment, you might work on setting up data pipelines, designing and maintaining data warehouses and data lakes, or transforming and cleaning raw data into clear insights and visual dashboards. You work in Agile and DevOps environments and communicate effectively with stakeholders to build solutions that truly make a difference. Meanwhile, you continue to develop yourself with training, courses, and coaching from your Talent Manager.

• Starting salary of €3730,- (incl. mobility allowance of €750 and holiday pay);

• Possibility for hybrid working (home office allowance);

• You are at the beginning of your career and are eager to learn, build, and make an impact with data;
• Completed HBO or WO degree in a data-related field;
• Basic knowledge of tools such as Power BI or Tableau;
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL;
• Knowledge of or experience with modeling;
• Understanding of databases and ETL processes;
• Relevant internship or work experience;
• Proactive, goal-oriented, and good command of the Dutch language (minimum C1 level).
