Site Reliability Engineer

Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.

• Linux knowledge and experience with container technology (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with CI/CD and deployment automation (e.g., GitLab/Azure DevOps) and version control (Git).
• Experience with observability/monitoring and making performance and availability visible (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana/Elastic).
• Scripting/automation skills (e.g., Python/Bash) and preferably experience with tooling such as Ansible/Helm.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

• Language: Dutch; minimum B2 level

• Making availability and performance measurable with observability (monitoring, metrics, and dashboards) so that teams can manage proactively.
• Reducing manual work ('toil') by automating operational tasks with scripting and tooling.
• Improving release reliability by making CI/CD and deployment processes robust, repeatable, and predictable.
• Structurally resolving disruptions and performance issues, with a focus on learning and prevention (runbooks, improvement actions, scaling and capacity choices).
