Senior Data Architect

• Demonstrable experience as a Data Architect within complex organizations;
• In-depth knowledge of data architecture principles, modeling, integration, master data, and data governance;
• Experience with DAMA/DMBOK and/or maturity models such as CMMI;
• Experience with governance tooling such as business glossaries, data catalogs, lineage tools, or data quality platforms;
• Experience with modern cloud platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure, Snowflake, and/or AWS;
• Strong in stakeholder management within complex, often political environments;
• Analytical, strong communicator, conceptual thinker, and solution-oriented;
• Proactive attitude and interest in the latest developments within data technology;
• You speak fluent Dutch (C1);

• A permanent contract of 32, 36, or 40 hours with a compensation budget up to €8,200 gross per month incl. holiday allowance and mobility allowance;

As a Senior Data Architect, you feel completely at home in complex data landscapes where strategy, technology, and collaboration converge. You bring structure to growing amounts of data, create clarity in fragmented information flows, and build foundations that organizations can rely on. You are the architect providing direction: you design modern data platforms, define integration patterns, and ensure that data is secure, logical, and sustainably usable for BI, analytics, and AI.

At clients, you act as both a technical sparring partner and a strategic advisor. You know how to explain technical choices clearly, align stakeholders, and translate business goals into scalable data solutions. You look beyond tomorrow: you follow developments in cloud, governance, and data modeling and know exactly which innovations add actual value. Think of Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, and other modern cloud platforms.

• Designing modern, scalable, and secure data architectures for BI, analytics, and AI applications;
• Translating business goals into data models, integration patterns, and platform solutions;
• Monitoring data quality, consistency, and reliability within the entire data platform;
• Aligning with stakeholders at both strategic and technical levels so that everyone is moving in the same direction;
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and advising on innovations such as Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake;
• Building strong client relationships by communicating clearly, managing expectations, and truly thinking along.
