We offer you a challenging and independent full-time/part-time position in and around the beautiful city of The Hague. The position is rewarded in salary group 11 of the HTM CAO with a corresponding salary between € 5,422.- and € 7,503.- gross per month for a full-time employment.
Additionally, you can count on excellent employment conditions, including: 'Public transport for business' (traveling in our transport area at a highly reduced rate, for yourself, your partner, and your children), an end-of-year bonus, buying, selling, or saving leave, and an extensive package of study facilities to continue your development: at HTM, you're in good hands!
Are you that energetic Data Architect who provides direction to the development of HTM's data landscape and thereby connects business, data, and technology? Then we are looking for you!
As a Data Architect, you are positioned within the CIO Office department and work at a strategic level on thinking through, designing, and governing HTM's data layer. You are not involved in daily operations, but you determine the course: you establish the architectural vision, monitor cohesion, and maintain governance on the data layer, so that the organization can build sustainably on data.
You form the connecting link between the information needs of the business, the data specialists, and the technical teams. You translate strategic issues into clear architectural frameworks and an executable roadmap: not by building yourself, but by providing frameworks, principles, and direction to the teams that do so. In doing so, you work closely with enterprise, domain, and solution architects, ensuring data is an integral part of HTM's change initiatives and digital transformation.
From this central position, you provide direction to issues in the fields of data platforms, data integration, data quality, master data management, and analytics. Additionally, AI plays a growing role: HTM is still at the beginning of this development, and with a future-proof data architecture, you lay the foundation to deploy AI responsibly and step-by-step in the coming years. You maintain intensive contact with stakeholders within both the business and IT and act as a strategic sparring partner, up to executive level, regarding data and information issues.
What specifically will you contribute to?
Thinking through and shaping the strategic data architecture of HTM and the associated roadmap.
Architectural control and governance of the data hub and the data lakehouse.
Setting up and monitoring architectural frameworks, principles, and standards for the data & AI domain.
Realizing an HTM-wide data approach together with the data team and the data labs.
Guiding the organization in the transition to data-driven working.
Strengthening data governance, metadata management, and master data management within HTM.
Designing conceptual and logical data models as a foundation for the data layer
For this role, we are looking for a strategic thinker who understands the value of data and is able to translate organizational goals into a future-proof data architecture and associated governance.
You think and act at a strategic level, with an eye for translation into practice.
Your attitude is proactive and you take initiative.
You are analytically strong and reduce complex issues to clear frameworks and choices.
You connect business, data, and technology, and bring stakeholders along in the architectural vision.
You are decisive, straightforward, and a natural collaborator.
You have an affinity with mobility, public transport, and social services.
Do you not meet all the job requirements, but are you excited by this role? Even then, we would love to receive your application. We are curious about your experience, potential, and the unique contribution you can make.
You can easily apply by sharing your LinkedIn profile with us. Uploading a CV is not necessary.
A motivation analysis is part of the procedure
During the selection procedure, we ask you to provide your diploma. We verify this as part of the application process.
