MBO diploma Security Officer 2, with a preference for Security Officer level 3 and/or additional training as a dispatcher;
Good command of the Dutch language in speech and writing;
Basic English skills in speech;
Able to give instructions in Dutch and English, even in stressful situations;
Extensive experience with automated information and office systems (MS Office);
For this position, accurate color perception is a requirement for assessing X-ray images;
No criminal record and resident in the Netherlands for the past 8 years;
Willingness to undergo screening by the AIVD and police as part of the application procedure;
Own transport and residing within 70 km of Petten (North Holland).
Are you an experienced certified security officer with a sharp eye for your surroundings? Do you know better than anyone how to combine site security with efficient communication and coordination from the control room? Do you perhaps have additional training as a dispatcher (BoCA or VoCA)? Then, as a Dispatcher at I-SEC, you can contribute directly to the security at the High Risk location Nuclear Research and Consultancy Group (NRG) in Petten. A unique research center focused on the detection and treatment of cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
What does the position entail?
As a site security officer and dispatcher, you contribute directly to security in an environment where very important activities are carried out. A responsible job within a team of top security professionals, whom you will lead and for whom you will make important decisions. The safety of employees and visitors is in your hands. You make the difference by acting in the correct manner during threatening situations.
In addition to coordinating tasks, you will regularly be engaged in:
Access controls (e.g., via x-ray);
Checking luggage and vehicles;
Acting as the point of contact and communication point during emergencies;
Switching quickly and clearly with emergency services;
Preventative and reactive action;
Directing colleagues on the campus;
Processing alarm notifications;
Supervising via camera surveillance;
Checking external suppliers;
Deployment as a site security officer on the campus.
NRG is a leading response center and world market leader in the supply of nuclear medicines, i.e., medical isotopes. Selection process
Your application and motivation are the first steps toward a challenging career at I-SEC at the NRG location. We will assess your overall performance and specific skills, with a focus on your knowledge of the Dutch language.
After receiving your application, we will contact you for a telephone intake.
If you meet all the requirements, we will invite you for an introduction and job interview at I-SEC in Schiphol. Together with the invitation, we will send an online assessment game. Everyone has an equal chance. The game is fun to play, and no preparation is required.
During the introduction and job interview at I-SEC in Schiphol, the capacity test and color blindness test will be administered by the Recruitment team. Following a positive result, an employment conditions discussion will follow immediately.
Subsequently, an introduction will be scheduled at our location in Petten with an employee.
