Do you also want to get more out of your work?
We are growing! And significantly too. Growth means more projects and more activities. As a site manager at Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Utrecht, you will work on landmark new construction, renovation and transformation projects, and brand-new technologies.
As a site manager, you don't just wear a helmet, you also take charge. From A to Z, you are responsible for a large new construction or renovation project. You provide daily leadership on the construction site and connect all the different parties to ensure the construction process runs smoothly. During construction, you ensure that everyone works safely. You also manage and record project documents and ensure timely delivery with the agreed quality.
Naturally, you have a great passion for construction, but you find having an eye for your team even more important. You lead your team of construction site employees and organize, coordinate, and monitor all activities on the construction site. Time pressure and deadlines are no stranger to you. This involves a lot. Fortunately, you know how to coach and inspire your colleagues at every stage. This keeps them above-average productive, and you can look at the final result with great pride.
Dura Vermeer is an independent family business. And you can notice that. In how we work together, how we look out for one another, and how we build with an eye for future generations. Since 1855, we have been building the Netherlands, in residential construction, commercial construction, infrastructure, and technology. Our independence and long-term vision form the foundation of this.
With a turnover of € 2.6 billion and over 3,700 colleagues, we belong to the top of the Dutch construction sector. But ultimately, for us, it is not about those figures. It is about people. About colleagues working together on projects you can be proud of – iconic and close to home – and contributing to solutions for societal issues.
Our ambitions are great. And we only achieve them with committed people. That is why we invest in good employer ship and a working environment in which you feel at home. Where you can be yourself, feel safe, and speak up. So that you get the best out of yourself and, together with us, make more
At Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Utrecht we work with about 100 colleagues on projects in Central Netherlands. From our office in Utrecht Leidsche Rijn and from the construction sites, we realize area and real estate development, residential construction, commercial construction, renovation, and transformation — from new construction to improving and renewing existing real estate. We love to get stuck in: development, preparation, and execution work closely together, with short lines of communication and a practical approach. No complicated fuss, but making plans and actually delivering them, with an eye for quality, sustainability, and projects we can be proud of.
First and foremost: Safety always comes first for you! Because of this, you always have an overview of all ongoing matters taking place on your construction site. As a result, you are very alert and, in the event of problems, you act professionally and accurately and think in solutions.
These requirements show the direction of the profile we are looking for in this position. Should you not recognize yourself in all the requirements, but you do think this is the position for you? Then we would love to have a conversation with you.
Then we are curious about you! You can apply directly via our website using the application button below the vacancy.
