Help us take the next step in the professionalization of our services

How do you ensure that service delivery not only works well today, but is also ready for the future? That requires continuous improvement, looking critically at existing working methods, and seeing opportunities to further increase quality.

At Bosch Building Technologies, we work on smart and secure buildings, where technology and services come together. Within the business line Remote Monitoring & Connectivity (RMC), we are looking for a Bachelor's or Master's student to help us further professionalize our services. As an intern or graduate student, you will research our working methods, data, commercial processes, and the market. You will map out opportunities for improvement and translate your insights into concrete proposals with which we can further increase the quality of our services.

Within Bosch Energy & Building Solutions, we work on integrated Safety & Security solutions such as evacuation systems, fire protection, and high-end intercom for environments where reliability is of vital importance. What you organize and administer in the warehouse partly determines the success of our projects throughout the Netherlands.

What you'll do

How can we organize our services more intelligently, professionally, and in a future-proof manner? That is the central question you will tackle. You will investigate where we can improve the quality of our customer data, how we can further standardize commercial processes and documents, and which developments in the markets where we are active with our safety and security services offer opportunities. In doing so, you will combine analysis and desk research with practice, for example, by contacting stakeholders and customers. Ultimately, you will translate your insights into a concrete improvement proposal for the operational and commercial processes within RMC.

OMS and the Dutch emergency dispatch center world.

In doing so, you will look at, for example:

  • Installers with whom we (can) collaborate;
  • Government agencies that influence our services;
  • Surveillance services with which we collaborate;
  • Possibilities for alternative or supplementary services;
  • Market developments that present opportunities or risks.

You will not only map out parties, but primarily investigate what market developments mean for RMC and what opportunities they offer to further strengthen our position within the chain.

What do you deliver?

At the end of your assignment, we expect that you have demonstrably contributed to making the operation more efficient and that you connect various analyses into one concrete improvement advice for RMC.

In doing so, you will show, for example:

  • where the most important opportunities for improvement lie in the current service delivery;
  • how the quality of data can be better secured;
  • where standardization of commercial processes is possible;
  • which market and stakeholder developments are relevant;
  • which improvements RMC can practically implement.

Functie-eisen

You are following a Bachelor's or Master's degree, for example:

  • Business Administration;
  • Industrial Engineering & Management;
  • Integrated Safety Science;
  • Security Management;
  • or a comparable degree.

Additionally:

  • you can work well independently;
  • you are analytical and solution-oriented;
  • you enjoy combining research with practical work;
  • you can switch between customers and other stakeholders;
  • you can translate information into concrete improvement proposals.

A driver's license is a plus, as you may need to travel to Goes for the assignment.
