Requirements

What we're looking for

  • MBO level of work and thinking;
  • technical affinity and an interest in understanding technical issues;
  • good oral and written communication skills;
  • an accurate way of working and experience with computer systems;
  • the ability to work independently within agreed procedures and guidelines;
  • a service-oriented attitude and the will to take responsibility for the follow-up.

Nice to have

Experience with a fault registration system or service desk environment is a plus, not a requirement. Experience in another strongly service-oriented environment can also be a good foundation. Think, for example, of catering or hospitality, where listening, quick switching, managing expectations, and customer-oriented action are important.

The role

As a Service Desk Officer at Bosch Building Technologies, you are the one who brings overview to the daily flow of fault reports. You assess what is needed, set priorities, and ensure that every report is handled carefully.

You will work from our Service Desk in Nieuwegein, where customer focus, collaboration, and a structured approach come together. You will deal with diverse technical issues and ensure that customers and colleagues can rely on one another. In this way, you contribute to reliable service delivery.

A malfunction is received via email. The customer wants to know when it will be addressed, but information is missing and it is not yet clear which technician is needed. You provide overview, coordinate with the right colleagues, and ensure the report moves forward.

As a Service Desk Officer at Bosch Building Technologies, you are the connecting link between customers, planners, and technicians. You collect information, assess reports, and monitor progress. In this way, you ensure that faults do not sit idle and customers know where they stand.

Do you want to ensure that a fault is not just registered, but also truly moves forward? Then apply as a Service Desk Officer at Bosch Building Technologies and help build a Service Desk that moves customers and colleagues forward. #LikeABosch

What you'll do

  • Coordinating faults: assessing incoming reports and ensuring all information is available for proper handling.
  • Collecting information: approaching customers and colleagues, asking targeted questions, and supplementing missing data.
  • Determining the right route: establishing which contract and technical domain a report belongs to and transferring it to the correct planner.
  • Monitoring progress: following up on outstanding reports and appointments and taking action when handling is at risk of delay.
  • Informing customers: keeping customers and involved colleagues informed of the status and next steps.
  • Improving service: identifying bottlenecks and thinking along about a more efficient and customer-oriented way of working.

Functie-eisen

You do not need to be a technical specialist. More importantly, you want to understand what is happening and do not let go until it is clear how a report can proceed. You listen, ask good questions, and know how to get both customers and colleagues moving in a pleasant way.

Room to grow

You will receive guidance and space for training and further development. At the same time, the Service Desk itself is evolving. Digitalization, process improvement, modern tooling, and AI support play an increasingly large role in this. You will be given the space to identify bottlenecks and think along about ways to organize the service more intelligently and with more customer focus.

What Bosch offers you

At Bosch Energy and Building Solutions B.V., you will work together with enthusiastic colleagues within a close-knit team. You will be given the space to learn, take initiative, and further develop yourself.

You can count on:

  • a good salary;
  • 38 vacation days per year based on full-time employment;
  • a one-year contract with a view to permanent employment;
  • a laptop and iPhone;
  • hybrid working in consultation;
  • guidance and space for training and career growth opportunities;
  • a pension scheme via PMT;
  • a stable, international employer with a people-oriented and professional culture.
