Learn more. Do more. More career. That is doing an internship at Dura Vermeer.
Finally, you can apply theory in practice: you are excited, and so are we! As an intern at Dura Vermeer Infra, you are right in the middle of projects ranging from roads and bridges to sustainable inner-city solutions and rail projects. Your contribution counts, literally and figuratively.
This will be your internship
We have internship positions available throughout the year at various projects and offices in the Netherlands, including one near you. Whether you are studying mbo, hbo, or wo civil engineering, together we will look at where your talent can best shine: work preparation, execution, design, estimation, project control, or specifically a graduation assignment. You will be given the responsibility to provide direction to your internship yourself, together with your supervisor.
With us, you learn from experienced colleagues, but you also bring in your own ideas. You participate fully, gain trust, and simultaneously build your network in the infra sector. This way, you make more of not only your studies, but also more of your career.
Dura Vermeer is an independent family business. And you can notice that. In how we work together, look out for one another, and build with an eye for future generations. Since 1855, we have been building the Netherlands, in residential construction, utility construction, infrastructure, and technology. Our independence and long-term vision form the basis for this.
With a turnover of € 2.6 billion and over 3,700 colleagues, we are among the top of the Dutch construction sector. But ultimately, it is not about those figures for us. It is about people. About colleagues working together on projects you can be proud of—iconic and close to home—and contributing to solutions for societal issues.
Our ambitions are big. And we can only achieve them with committed people. That's why we invest in good employer practices and a working environment where you feel at home. Where you can be yourself, feel safe and speak your mind. So that you get the best out of yourself and, together with us, make more.
You will be working at Dura Vermeer infra regional projects central in Utrecht, where innovation, sustainability, and technology are top of mind. It is a growing organization, with a large, healthy long-term ambition. We focus on Net Zero; "Zero emissions by 2050 and by 2030 our CO2 emissions must be halved". All of this is a collective journey where there is plenty of room for your own ambition.

You are looking for an internship for at least 4 days per week;
You are proactive and dare to ask questions;
