• A completed technical higher professional (hbo) or university (wo) education.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a Solution Architect or in a comparable technical architecture role, preferably within physical security systems.
• PSIM, VMS, Access Control, or security management platforms.
• Experience with complex IT/OT integration, building automation, or similar mission-critical technology.
• Experience with large-scale integration challenges, where IT and OT components converge.
• Good knowledge of cybersecurity principles within complex technical environments.

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.

How do you design a security environment that is not only secure today, but also scalable, manageable, and cyber secure five or ten years from now? As a Solution Architect at Bosch Building Technologies, you work on exactly that challenge. You design integrated security solutions in which physical security, IT infrastructure, OT, and cybersecurity converge.

You work together with large enterprise customers on environments where safety and continuity are essential, such as government, industry, and critical infrastructure. In doing so, you look beyond individual security systems. You bring together technology, processes, and business objectives into one future-proof architecture.

This is a senior technical role with significant influence. You act as a technical advisor for our customers and internal teams, are involved in strategic technical choices, and report directly to the CTO.

As a Solution Architect, you translate complex security challenges into a clear technical vision. You determine not only what is technically possible, but also advise on what is the best long-term choice for a customer.

In this role, you maintain an overview of the entire lifecycle: from the initial customer request and architecture to implementation, management, and further development.

• Designing architecture: You translate business, security, and technical requirements into robust, scalable architectures for complex IT/OT environments.
• Integrating systems: You bring together technologies such as PSIM, VMS, Access Control, and security management platforms with hosting, virtualization, networks, and other IT components.
• Providing strategic advice to customers: You are a trusted advisor for customers and a partner for both technical specialists and management and directors. You make complex technical choices understandable and demonstrate their consequences.
• Applying cybersecurity by design: Cybersecurity is part of your architecture from the very beginning. You take into account the integrity, availability, and continuity of mission-critical systems.
• Providing technical direction: You support sales, engineering, and implementation teams through your technical vision. During execution, you safeguard the architectural principles and quality of the chosen solution.
• Improving processes
  You look beyond technology alone. You analyze how customers organize their security processes and investigate where integration, standardization, and automation can add value.
• Bringing innovation into practice
  You follow relevant technological developments, assess new solutions and suppliers, and investigate where new technology can offer added value.
