Service Technician Noord Brabant

This is the job for smart doers with technical insight. As a Service Technician at Schindler Lifts, you will get a lot of freedom in your day, a steady customer base that relies on you, and technology that matters. You will work warmly indoors at various locations, resolve malfunctions, keep elevators running safely, and see immediate results. Your travel time is largely paid, you start with top-tier tools and PPE worth approximately 3000 euros, and you can grow quickly as soon as you are ready. Lots of variety, lots of responsibility, and you are the face to your customers in your region.

You manage and maintain existing lift installations for customers in your region. You work independently, plan your day smartly, and coordinate with colleagues when necessary. Quality, safety, and customer satisfaction always come first.
Your core tasks:

• Perform preventive maintenance and accurately adjust installations.
• Analyze and resolve malfunctions and solve the cause structurally.
• Advise customers on use, maintenance, and next steps.
• Work according to procedures and standards, including clear reporting.
• Participate in the on-call service according to the schedule, with a fixed allowance and overtime when deployed.

Practicalities: you work as a Service Technician from 08:00 to 17:00. The on-call service is typically once every ten days at night and once every ten days on the weekend. You serve your own region with as few car kilometers as possible. For your travel time, half an hour per day is at your own expense, the rest is paid.

You combine electrical engineering with a mechanical feel and enjoy getting to the bottom of causes and adjusting them neatly.
You bring:

• At least MBO 3-4 level in electrical, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, automotive, or similar.
• A dose of stress resistance. You can easily empathize with the customer's situation.
• Demonstrable technical insight and accuracy in your work.
• Smooth and professional communication with customers.
• Responsibility for planning and quality.
• Language: you speak Dutch or English. If you speak exclusively English, this is suitable if you can address your customers clearly and professionally and can complete your reports correctly in English.
