As a Working Student Product Content & Merchandising, you are part of the Belsimpel product team. Together, we ensure that our assortment is complete, correct, and online on time. From the latest smartphones and tablets to smartwatches, audio, and accessories: you ensure that customers have all the information they need to choose the right product.

The Purchasing team requests new products, we discover new products ourselves, or we receive information from partners such as Samsung and Google about products that have yet to be released. Because of this, we are often among the first to be aware of the latest developments. It is our task to collect all available information, check it critically, and ensure that new products appear on our website as quickly and completely as possible.

As a result, you work closely with the latest technology and see the result of your work directly reflected on Belsimpel. Do you want to gain relevant work experience alongside your studies and contribute to product pages viewed by thousands of customers? Then this position is for you!

Part-time | 16 h/w | University level | Head office Groningen

As you grow, Belsimpel grows with you.

• You ensure that new products are online completely and correctly. You collect and process specifications, check product information, and investigate missing or incorrect information.

• You write product descriptions and pros and cons, so that technical features are clear and understandable for our customers.

• You ensure a complete product presentation by processing images and other content and by checking and improving existing product pages.

• During major product launches from, for example, Apple, Samsung, and Google, you work together with the entire team to get the latest products online as quickly and completely as possible.

• You work closely with teams such as Purchasing and Marketing to ensure that customers see the correct and complete product information.

• You work with our internal systems, AI tools, and automations and think along about how we can process product information increasingly smartly and efficiently.

• You quickly receive your own responsibilities and regularly work on products that are not yet officially for sale. This way, you are close to the latest developments and see your work directly reflected on our website.

• You are following a bachelor's or master's degree at the RuG or Hanze.

• You are available 16 hours per week (or more) on weekdays between 9:00 - 18:00.

• You work accurately and find it important that information is complete and correct.

• You can quickly understand technical product information and convey it in a clear manner.

• You write easily and error-free in Dutch.

• You are curious and enjoy researching information when something is missing or incorrect.

• You enjoy working with technology and new products.

Fluency in the Dutch language is required for this role; candidates will be assessed accordingly.
