That is why we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master who helps teams excel and wants to play an active role in the further agile development of our organization.

As a Scrum Master, you will become part of the Business Unit Digital & Controls. An international organization of approximately 130 colleagues in Apeldoorn and Mertzwiller (France) working on the software, hardware, and digital services behind our heating solutions.

You will guide one or two multidisciplinary development teams working on connectivity solutions for our products. In doing so, you focus not only on facilitating Scrum processes, but especially on helping teams, people, and the agile organization as a whole to grow.

You are an important sparring partner for Product Owners, stakeholders, and fellow Scrum Masters. Thanks to your experience, you know when to coach, challenge, or facilitate. You help teams to collaborate more effectively, take ownership, and deliver predictable value.

• Guiding one or two Scrum teams within a complex software and hardware development environment.

• Facilitating all Scrum events, such as sprint planning, daily scrum, refinement, review, and retrospective.

• Coaching teams towards a high level of self-organization and agile maturity.

• Identifying and removing impediments that block progress or collaboration.

• Supporting Product Owners with backlog management, prioritization, and the creation of user stories.

• Monitoring and improving the agreed ways of working within the teams.

• Aligning and coordinating dependencies with other teams.

• Actively contributing to the Scrum Master Community and the further agile transformation within Remeha and BDR Thermea.

You work in an international setting with colleagues from the Netherlands and France. The culture is technical, strong in substance, and focused on collaboration. We combine the flexibility of hybrid working with the added value of personal contact. Therefore, you will be present at our location in Apeldoorn an average of two to three days per week. Occasionally, you will travel to our French location to work with the colleagues there.

This role goes beyond guiding ceremonies. We are looking for a senior Scrum Master who helps to bring the entire Scrum community within the organization to a higher level. Someone who introduces best practices, inspires teams, and looks with a critical eye at how we can continue to improve Agile working.

In doing so, you will get plenty of room to experiment, to learn, and to actually set changes in motion.

You are an experienced Scrum Master who gets energy from technical product development and the development of teams.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master within an Agile organization.

• Experience in a technical software environment, preferably with embedded software development.

• Affinity with software development, hardware development, and connectivity solutions.

• Experience with Jira and Miro.

• Strong coaching and facilitation skills.

• Good communication skills and the ability to engage people at different levels.

• Experience with or knowledge of Scrum at scale is a plus.

• Certifications such as PSM I, PSM II, LeSS, or ICAgile are a plus.

Additionally, you are curious, open, enthusiastic, and not afraid to try a new approach if it helps teams to improve.
