3D Modeller – Civil Engineering

• You will receive a gross monthly salary between € 3,500 and € 5,000 per month, depending on your education, knowledge, and relevant work experience. This amount is part of our salary range, with growth opportunities within the organization;

As a 3D Modeller in Civil Engineering, you translate design principles into smart, executable 3D models for public spaces and infrastructure. You develop high-quality 3D models, contribute ideas regarding design choices, and communicate directly with clients. In this way, you combine technical depth, responsibility, and visible impact on the living environment. From sketch to streetscape. You make it possible.

You will receive a great deal of freedom and responsibility and will work on diverse projects for municipalities, provinces, water boards, contractors, developers, and utility companies. Think of area developments, redesigns of residential areas, reconstructions of industrial estates, dike reinforcements, and infrastructural projects in the fields of roads, sewerage, and urban water management. Your models form the basis for design decisions, quantities, drawings, and execution. Together with designers, engineers, and project managers, you realize smart and executable solutions for complex civil engineering issues. Ultimately, you will see the result of your work reflected in the public space and the living environment of tomorrow.

• You coordinate design choices with designers, engineers, project managers, and, where necessary, clients;

• You model and elaborate civil engineering designs in 3D (OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCad Civil 3D) for roads, sewerage, water management, and dike reinforcements;

• You translate design principles into executable 3D models, drawings, profiles, and quantities;

• You monitor the quality, manufacturability, and technical feasibility of designs and identify opportunities for improvement;

• You actively contribute to BIM developments, digitalization, and innovative design methods within Civil Engineering.

• A completed MBO or HBO degree in Civil Engineering or similar;

• At least 2 years of experience as a 3D Modeller, Designer, or Drafter within civil engineering;

• Experience with AutoCad Civil 3D or similar design software, such as OpenRoads Designer, Novapoint, or InfraWorks;

• Affinity with RAW systematics, UAV(-GC), and design and execution guidelines is a plus;

• Good communication skills and excellent command of the Dutch language;

• You are eager to learn, accurate, customer-oriented, and have a proactive work attitude.
