Requirements

What we're looking for

A completed MBO or HBO education in electrical engineering or similar
At least 2 years of work experience as a BIM drafter in electrical engineering is a must
Experience with Revit

Nice to have

Technical insight, accuracy, and a structured way of working
Good communication skills
Fluent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written

The role

We are looking for an interim BIM modeller who has experience with Revit and in electrical engineering.

The assignment will be within 1 of our VDK family businesses. As a BIM Modeller, you will work together with engineers, project leaders, and other disciplines on high-quality installations. You ensure that designs are technically correct, align well with each other, and are perfectly detailed in 3D models.

What you'll do

Modelling and detailing electrical installations in 3D;
Coordinating designs with colleagues and other technical disciplines;
Translating technical principles into clear and executable models;
Checking drawings and models for quality, completeness, and technical feasibility;
Working with BIM software such as Revit and AutoCAD;
Identifying bottlenecks and thinking along about smart technical solutions;
Monitoring progress and processing changes during the project.
