Where will you work?
You will join Royal Den Hartogh Logistics, an international and leading logistics service provider for the chemical, gas, polymer, and food industries. As a Deepsea Logistics Employee, you ensure that our liquid bulk sea transports run smoothly and efficiently. You book and track sailings to destinations including Turkey, Greece, and the Baltic States, while maintaining control over documentation, costs, and alternative routes. Daily, you coordinate with truck planning, Account Managers, and other partners, and you solve operational challenges quickly and practically.

• You book and coordinate Deepsea sailings for our Liquid department, to destinations including Turkey, Greece, and the Baltic States;

• You manage and check the transport and shipping documentation, such as B/L instructions and customs documents;

• Monitor and check transport costs for extra costs on both regular and alternative routes;

• Is something going differently than planned? Then you look for alternative routes and inform the Account Managers about the options and associated costs;

• As an operational point of contact for truck planning, you proactively solve daily issues regarding bookings, sailings, and connections.

• Have experience in logistics or shipping; knowledge of deepsea or container transport is a strong plus;

• Are administratively strong and work accurately with bookings, documentation, and costs;

• Switch gears quickly and remain calm when the schedule changes or a problem arises;

• Are communicatively strong and collaborate smoothly with planning, Account Management, shipping lines, and other partners;

• Have a proactive, solution-oriented attitude and take responsibility to ensure transports run as efficiently as possible.
