Senior Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager (Program Manager) within the People & Process Office of CloudNation, you are responsible for leading complex cloud and AI programs. You ensure predictable execution, strong governance, and measurable business results. Working in close collaboration with the Customer Lead, who is responsible for customer strategy and value creation, you hold responsibility for delivery, planning, risk management, and operational excellence across teams, projects, and platforms.

You drive scalable service delivery, support strategic initiatives such as the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE), and leverage AI to further strengthen program management and execution.

Success is measured by reliable delivery, effective stakeholder management, transparency, risk control, and continuous improvement within cloud and AI trajectories.

• Lead strategic cloud and AI programs and ensure successful delivery, strong governance, and demonstrable business results.

• Translate customer objectives into actionable plans, roadmaps, budgets, and delivery priorities.

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, including senior management and board members.

• Drive AI-driven delivery by integrating Responsible AI, compliance, quality, and operational excellence into execution.

• Work closely with Customer Leads to align strategy, execution, and governance.

• Identify growth opportunities and drive the adoption of CloudNation's strategic propositions, such as the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE).

• Ensure clear reporting, effective risk management, and continuous improvement within programs and teams.

Discover
Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers and customers to understand objectives, drivers, and challenges, including areas where AI can create demonstrable added value.

Define
Establish clear program objectives, scope, timelines, and success criteria, aligned with strategic priorities and, for AI initiatives, with data maturity and compliance requirements.

Design
Guide teams in shaping solutions using frameworks such as Azure CAF & Enterprise-Scale and the AWS Well-Architected Framework, integrating Responsible AI where relevant.

Develop
Drive high-quality and flexible execution (Agile or Waterfall), including review milestones and quality controls for AI/ML development trajectories.

Deploy
Lead the implementation and handover of delivered results, including CCoE initiatives and production readiness (including MLOps for AI solutions).

Continuous Delivery
Support customers in operationalizing results, share responsibility for governance with the Customer Lead, and maintain oversight of continuous improvement and value creation.

• At least 5 years of experience leading complex cloud trajectories, including managing multiple teams, budget management, and senior-level stakeholder management.

• Demonstrable experience leading complex programs with multiple teams, including the implementation of propositions such as the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE).

• Strong experience with delivery management in multi-cloud environments (Azure and AWS), including Azure CAF / Enterprise-Scale and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

• Experience with AI and/or data programs, including Responsible AI, compliance (such as the EU AI Act), and the MLOps lifecycle.

• Demonstrably works AI-supported, for example with AI agents such as Claude or Claude Code, and promotes this way of working within teams.

• Strong in expectation management and able to bring structure and calm to complex, changing environments.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills up to C-level, with strong control of risks, dependencies, and budgets.

• Can independently manage the administrative aspects of program management, including project setup, planning, and invoicing.
