The role

As our HR Specialist for the Netherlands, you will be the go-to HR professional for local leaders and employees. You'll help create a positive and high-performing workplace culture by providing expert guidance on employee relations, talent management, organisational effectiveness, engagement, and change initiatives.

Working closely with colleagues across our international HR community, you'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact while contributing to both local and global HR priorities.

This is a full-time position, starting preferably on the 1st of October, for one year. The position falls within the CAO Metaal & Techniek for Installation Companies, so all the benefits of the CAO will be applicable.

For our Global HR team, we are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to support our organization in the Netherlands.

As a reliable sparring partner for managers and employees, you will be involved in the full employee lifecycle. You combine strategic insight with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to provide effective HR solutions.

About the role

As HR Specialist for the Netherlands, you are the first point of contact for local managers and employees regarding HR matters. You contribute to a positive and successful working environment by providing expert advice on employee relations, talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, and change processes.

You will work closely with colleagues within our international HR community and will have the opportunity to make a visible impact on both local and global HR priorities.

This concerns a full-time position for a duration of one year, with a desired start date of October 1st. The CAO Metaal & Techniek for the Technical Installation Company applies to this position, including all associated employment conditions.

What will you do?

  • Providing advice to managers and employees on various HR issues.

  • Coaching managers in the areas of employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and change processes.

  • Supporting the full employee journey: from recruitment and onboarding to development, engagement, and offboarding.

  • Setting up and supporting initiatives in the areas of employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention.

  • Contributing to talent and succession planning, performance reviews, and annual HR processes.

  • Ensuring compliance with Dutch labor law and internal guidelines.

  • Building and maintaining constructive relationships with the Works Council and other key stakeholders.

  • Using HR data and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Contributing to local, regional, and global HR projects.

What do you bring?

  • Several years of experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or HR Generalist.

  • Sound knowledge of Dutch labor law and employee relations.

  • Experience advising leaders on a wide range of HR topics.

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

  • A proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented way of working.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.

  • Experience within an international organization is a plus.

  • A high degree of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
