First Line Support Engineer

• MBO level of work and thinking

• Strong communication skills. You will be in regular contact with the customer and you must be able to ask the right follow-up questions. Additionally, it is important that you record the customer's information accurately in writing.

• Analytical ability: you must be able to ask effective follow-up questions and understand what is happening with the customer.

• You speak fluent Dutch and can manage in English (we regularly document in English with our global office)

• Affinity with IT is a plus.

As a First Line Support Engineer, you will be working on answering questions from Ascom customers. You will support them via telephone and email and resolve simple technical problems. Furthermore, you will collect information for resolving more complex problems and document the questions and solutions in a ticketing system. In addition to answering customer questions, you will also perform simple changes and maintenance. Your collaboration with other departments ensures that customers are satisfied and their problems are resolved quickly.

You will join a friendly team of approximately 15 colleagues working as first- and second-line support engineers. This position is a first-line support engineer role, in which you have many opportunities to grow. That is also what we strive for at Ascom.
