Requirements

What we're looking for

A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in, for example, Land and Water Management, Nature and Landscape Technology, Civil Engineering, Garden and Landscape Design, or a similar field;
For a medior role, at least 3 years of relevant work experience;
We also explicitly invite enthusiastic junior candidates to apply;
Affinity with RAW systematics and preferably experience with UAV-GC contracts, or the ambition to further develop yourself in this area;
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D is a plus;
A proactive and solution-oriented attitude;
Good communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating;
Organizational talent and the ability to maintain an overview within projects.

What you'll do

Do you want to contribute to a future-proof water system and a greener living environment? As a Project Advisor Water & Nature Construction, you will work on challenging projects in the fields of stream restoration, nature development, water storage, and climate adaptation. You will be involved in various project phases: from exploration and variant studies to final designs and the preparation of execution. Together with designers, ecologists, advisors, and project leaders, you will translate the wishes of clients into smart and feasible solutions. Depending on your experience, you will join as a junior or medior professional. Are you a starter with the right education and motivation? Then we offer you plenty of room to further develop yourself. Do you already have experience? Then you will quickly receive more responsibility within projects.

What you enjoy doing:

Working on diverse water and nature construction projects;
Drafting programs of requirements, design notes, and reports;
Translating designs into specifications, management and supervision execution contracts, and cost estimates;
Supporting project leaders during client meetings and project consultations;
Coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and fellow specialists;
Identifying bottlenecks and thinking along about smart solutions;
Visiting project locations and clients in the North and South of the Netherlands
Contributing to the further development of our knowledge and working methods.

You will become part of our Water & Ecology team: an enthusiastic group of experienced specialists and young professionals who love to share knowledge. We work together daily on complex tasks in the fields of water management, nature development, and climate adaptation.

Within projects, you will collaborate closely with colleagues from other disciplines, such as ecology, civil engineering, urban planning, and environmental management. We find a good team atmosphere to be at least as important. Therefore, we regularly organize knowledge sessions, project visits, team outings, and informal activities.
