Requirements

What we're looking for

Minimum HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level;
Thinking along about and being able to work within commercial and technical frameworks;
At least 5 years of experience with software development in .NET and Python;
Experience with Django/FastAPI;
Knowledge of Azure Cloud and SQL Databases (PostgreSQL);
Experience with Websockets, RPC, HTTP, (REST) APIs and microservices;
Experience with automated testing;
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and docker; knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript/Typescript is a plus.

The role

As a mid-level back-end developer, you will work within a startup environment on the development of a new generation of engineering services.

What you'll do

Antea Group is building the engineering consultancy of the future. This means we are fully committed to the digitalization of our products, processes, and services. And we can make good use of your skills for that. As an experienced back-end developer, you will work within a startup environment on innovative applications that we want to bring to market. You will do this throughout the entire development process: from design and coding to testing and implementation. Within an agile (scrum) team in an Azure DevOps environment, you will help write software with high usability, while taking security, performance, and scalability into account. You will use various programming languages and development frameworks to translate functional specifications and user requirements into solutions. You will regularly perform updates and patches to improve security and functionality. Additionally, you will perform code reviews and check programming work (four-eyes principle).

Additionally, you will work closely with our domain experts: advisors and project leaders from various business lines.
