As a Back-end Engineer within Blue10, you will expand the technical possibilities for the development of the Blue10 software. You will contribute to our ecosystem, making the Blue10 software smarter, more stable, faster, and more efficient.

Choosing the right solutions and technologies requires a deep interest in technology. Strong data structures, the right abstractions, and secure data storage are essential to building a reliable system.

You will work within an agile methodology as part of an engineering team, in two-week sprints with corresponding weekly meetings with stakeholders. Peer reviews, sprint reviews, and retrospectives within the team ensure knowledge sharing, feedback, and personal development.

In short, your role looks like this:

• You collaborate with product analysts to design solutions for our users' problems;

• You are responsible for assessing the backlog and accepting or rejecting your assignments based on clear criteria;

• You will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of a number of applications;

• You develop individual services with a specific function as part of the Blue10 software. You design, optimize, and manage systems that are efficient and scalable for application needs. You connect to our own internal processes, data sources, and external APIs of ERP and accounting systems;

• You analyze data regarding the performance, availability, and operation of the software (including system resources, network activity, request rates, errors, and warnings).

• You are analytical, customer-oriented, problem-solving, accurate, and resourceful;

• You enjoy collaborating and have strong communication skills;

• You have at least 3 years of experience with .NET Core+, ASP.NET Core, and Azure;

• You have an affinity with modern software development processes such as Scrum, XP, TDD, and CI/CD;

• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages;

• You have a Bachelor's/Master's (HBO/WO) level of working and thinking.
