Do you enjoy working with technology, structure, and overview? And do you want to contribute to a stable IT and network infrastructure at a unique location? As a Network Documentation Specialist at Allinq, you ensure that cabling, patch cabinets, and network structures are correct down to the finest detail.
No policy stories, but clear work with visible results: you ensure that everyone knows exactly how the network is structured and where everything is connected. Indispensable work at one of the most complex IT locations in the Netherlands: Schiphol.
In this role, you will work daily on recording and managing network and cabling data within a complex IT environment. You will check connections, process changes, and keep the documentation up to date in Patchmanager.
Your work prevents errors, accelerates troubleshooting, and ensures that maintenance can take place safely and efficiently. Without good network documentation, an infrastructure comes to a standstill, and you ensure that does not happen.
These are the most important tasks:
Managing and keeping network and infrastructure data up to date in Patchmanager.
Documenting cabling, network configurations, and IT infrastructure.
Collaborating with engineers and project leaders during the installation, modification, and maintenance of the infrastructure.
Supporting analyses, troubleshooting, and optimization of the IT infrastructure.
You are technically minded, work accurately, and enjoy maintaining an overview. You understand how IT infrastructure and cabling work and find it important that everything is correct down to the last detail. Diplomas are supportive; practical insight and experience are decisive.
What we ask of you:
Mbo+ work and thinking level (or equivalent) in a technical/IT field.
Technical knowledge of network technologies, preferably experience with cabling and documentation.
Experience with Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
Accuracy, proactive attitude, good communication skills, flexibility, and willingness to undergo a security screening.
Good command of Dutch and English.
In this position, you will work at Schiphol Noord, a high-tech environment where reliability, security, and craftsmanship are central. You will be part of a stable team in which knowledge is shared and where your work visibly contributes to the functioning of the network.
In addition, we offer:
A salary between €3,391 and €3,889, in accordance with the CAO Kleinmetaal en Techniek (Collective Labour Agreement for Small Metal and Engineering).
25 vacation days and 13 ADV days, based on full-time employment.
Working in an innovative, high-tech team with room for personal development.
A warm, people-oriented organization where your contribution truly counts.
The opportunity to work on the digital future of one of Europe's largest airports.
The possibility to work hybrid, with a home office allowance of €2.45 per day.
A good pension scheme with pension fund PMT.
Under certain conditions, Allinq can nominate employees' children for a contribution toward tuition fees via the independent foundation Educatie4All.
As a Network Documentation Specialist, you provide structure and reliability in a complex IT environment. Your work supports engineers, prevents errors, and keeps Schiphol's digital infrastructure running.
Do you enjoy working with technology and overview, and do you prefer ensuring things are correct rather than talking about them? Then apply now and strengthen Allinq at one of the most important IT locations in the Netherlands.
