DevOps Engineer ServiceNow

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of working and thinking, preferably in the direction of IT or Computer Science.

• Extensive experience with the development, configuration, and technical management of ServiceNow.

• Good knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and experience with multiple ServiceNow modules.

• Affinity with the functional side and the ability to translate functional needs into technical solutions.

• Experience applying ServiceNow best practices and a preference for standard functionality over custom development.

• Experience with one or more of the areas used within Athora, such as ITBM, ITOM, APM, SAM, SecOps, Time, and BCM, is a plus.

• ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Application Developer (CAD), are a plus.

• Experience within financial services, insurance, or a similar regulated sector is a plus.

• Affinity with both the technical and functional sides of ServiceNow and the ability to connect them.

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.

Salary per month:
Based on collective labor agreement scale 15 HAY, the range is € 4.335,55 to € 5.780,73 based on 36 hours.

The team focuses on standardization, automation, and the optimal utilization of standard product suites. Development and operations are brought together within the team, with end-to-end responsibility for the solutions and services delivered. In doing so, quality, security, stability, manageability, and scalability are central.

As a DevOps Engineer ServiceNow, you are responsible for the management, development, and further optimization of the ServiceNow platform within Athora. You translate functional needs and process improvements into technically robust and manageable solutions. In doing so, you work closely with users, process owners, and other IT teams. Additionally, you actively follow developments within ServiceNow and research which new functionalities and innovations add value to Athora.

Your activities include:

• Developing, configuring, testing, and implementing solutions within ServiceNow.

• Managing and continuously improving the ServiceNow platform.

• Translating functional requirements into technical solutions.

• Realizing and managing integrations with other systems.

• Following and assessing new ServiceNow functionalities and releases.

• Advising on the application of new possibilities within Athora.

• Stimulating standardization and limiting custom development.

• Ensuring quality, security, stability, and manageability of the platform.

• Working with, among others, ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, APM, SAM, SecOps, Time, and BCM.
