The role

Do you want to become the driving force behind the benefits policy of a leading Benelux firm? Are you a strategic thinker who translates complex issues into clear, practical solutions, and are you ready for a role in which you truly make a difference? Then we are looking for you!

At AKD, you will become the expert in the field of Compensation & Benefits for over 600 professionals in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. You will work on important current files, including the implementation of the new pension legislation and the EU Pay Transparency Directive, and help build the benefits policy of tomorrow.

What you'll do

In this independent and strategic role, you are the primary point of contact and the substantive expert in the field of benefits. You develop policy, advise stakeholders at all levels—from employees and HR Business Advisors to the board—and lead projects that contribute directly to an attractive and future-proof reward system for our people.

How you'll work

Your location is Rotterdam, Amsterdam, or Eindhoven. You work 3 days per week in the office, of which 2 days per week are in Rotterdam; during the initial period, you will work entirely in the office due to training and onboarding.

What will you do?

  • You coordinate and execute the annual performance management, salary, and bonus rounds.

  • You develop, optimize, and implement strategic benefits policy, supported by analyses, benchmarks, and business cases;

  • You lead concrete Compensation & Benefits projects, such as the implementation of the new pension legislation, remuneration issues, mobility policy, and (inter)national employee exchanges;

  • You identify market and legislative developments and proactively translate these into appropriate and future-proof policy;

  • You advise HR Business Advisors, management, and the board on complex remuneration and benefits issues;

  • You maintain contact with external parties, such as pension providers, insurers, and mobility partners.

  • You monitor laws and regulations and translate them into future-proof policy.

What do you bring?

You are analytically strong, know how to convey complex information simply, and feel at home in an environment where strategy and execution meet. You are ready for a role with a lot of ownership and visibility.

Interested?

Are you ready to apply your expertise within an organization where you can truly make an impact, on a file that matters to more than 550 colleagues? Then we would love to meet you.
