What we're looking for
We are looking for a lawyer who recognizes themselves in our way of working and collaborating. You:
Have at least 6+ years of experience as a lawyer within employment law
Combine legal sharpness with a practical, client-oriented approach
Are able to manage complex files independently
Communicate persuasively and carefully in Dutch and English
Work in a connecting manner and actively contribute to collaboration between teams
Are professional, accessible, and feel at home in a dynamic practice
The role
Within our Employment & Pensions practice group, we combine broad sector knowledge with in-depth expertise. We want to understand what is truly happening within an organization: the legal frameworks, the governance relationships, and the interests behind the issue. Employment and pension law directly touches people, governance, and continuity. That requires both diligence and pragmatism. We reduce complex regulations to their core and provide clear advice that clients can act upon.
We work no-nonsense. No unnecessary legalism. No detours. Instead, substantive sharpness, short lines of communication, and clear communication. We challenge each other, take responsibility, and remain engaged. For our clients and with each other.
Whatever the issue is - We're on it.
We advise and litigate across the full spectrum of employment and pension law. For employers, works councils, and pension providers. Precisely because we assist different parties, we understand the interests at play.
Our activities include, among others:
What you'll do
Employment contracts and dismissal law
Reorganizations and transfer of undertakings
Collective labor agreements (CAO) and co-determination law
Competition, confidentiality, and privacy
Special employment relationships and equal treatment
National and international secondment and labor migration
Working conditions, working hours, and remuneration structures
Pension law issues and systemic changes
In addition, we are closely involved in the employment and pension law aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings. We work multidisciplinarily with colleagues from, among others, corporate, tax, privacy, administrative law, and restructuring to arrive at integrated solutions.
As a senior lawyer:
You take independent responsibility for complex files
You are a substantive sparring partner for clients and colleagues
You guide and coach associate lawyers and interns in their daily practice
You contribute to knowledge sharing and quality control
You take responsibility for the further development of the team
You have an eye for commerce and are also actively engaged with this, in your own way
Your location is Amsterdam, Rotterdam, or Eindhoven (the choice is yours). In this role, you will work closely with colleagues from all our offices, including the team in Brussels. We work as one practice, with short lines, shared responsibility, and a strong team culture that connects all offices.
