Internship Research Development & Quality, Engineering and Operations

At Ahold Delhaize Coffee Company, we continue a long tradition of passionate people working on the production of coffee. What began more than one hundred years ago in the back room of the Albert Heijn store has grown into the second largest coffee roaster in the Netherlands. In Zaandam, we roast green coffee beans into aromatic coffee for brands such as Perla, Delhaize, Latitude 28 and Caffè Gondoliere.

At Ahold Delhaize Coffee Company, experts work on the continuous development and improvement of processes, packaging and the quality of coffee. During your internship, you will become part of a team / department and we offer different types of internships: shadowing, project, and graduation internships at MBO, HBO, and WO levels.

In this position, you will work 40 hours per week at Ahold Delhaize Coffee Company in Zaandam, in the factory, quality lab, tasting room, the workshop and office.

• Performing preliminary research, conducting research/assignments, collecting & processing results, analyzing them, drawing conclusions and making recommendations.
• Assessing the quality of collected data.
• Assisting with activities within the department.
• Monitoring the interests/wishes of both the school and Ahold Delhaize Coffee Company.
