An internship within Procurement at Albert Heijn.
As an intern within Procurement at Albert Heijn, you and your team are responsible for purchasing the best and newest products that ultimately end up in our customers' shopping baskets. You will learn the art of negotiation and work together with our supplier partners to build a sustainable procurement process, and thus a more sustainable future. Your new job and workplace.
As an Intern, you make a direct contribution to the procurement process of our products. You do this not alone, but together with your colleagues from the team. You support the Sourcing Manager in making the best deals, where you will work on:

• Guiding the implementation process of new products and product changes.
• Conducting market and competitor analyses.
• Supporting the preparations for negotiations.
• Maintaining active contact with suppliers.

You will receive responsibility from day one and learn a lot about the different aspects of our organization. As an intern within Procurement, you help with the preparations for negotiations, where high-stakes negotiating takes place. You maintain contact with suppliers, and you also keep a close eye on the competition. With your razor-sharp analyses, we remain ahead in the market. Additionally, you help with improvement projects, for example in the field of sustainability, and you ensure that these projects proceed according to plan. Within Procurement, no two days are the same, humor is part of the work, and every day we work with great dedication and enthusiasm to fill those 6 million plates in the Netherlands and Belgium.
In this position, you work 32-40 hours per week, partly from our head office in Zaandam and partly from home. |

• You are currently pursuing a degree at HBO/WO level, for example in the field of Business Administration, Commercial Economics, Food Studies, or at the Hogere Hotelschool, or related.
• Knowledge of Excel.
• You are proficient in the Dutch language.
• Experience with our retail organization is a significant plus.
• If you, just like us, combine a passion for retail with a large dose of eagerness to learn, that's absolutely great!
