The role

As an intern at Wehkamp, you will work within the Home & Garden buying team. Here, you will participate in the process ranging from developing our own products and purchasing various brands, to the successful sale of the products. Your tasks will include:

What you'll do

  • Supporting the (assistant) Buyers during the assortment purchasing process;
  • Content and its enrichment, reviewing reviews, and taking action when items with complaints are posted online;
  • Maintenance of the purchasing process;
  • Responsible for supporting the needs of the category;
  • Supporting the marketing activities for the category, details of product descriptions;
  • Creating supplier performance analyses based on sales, returns, and item complaints;
  • Supporting the briefing for marketing activities.

Functie-eisen

We are looking for an intern studying at a relevant HBO (higher professional education) program, preferably in Commercial Economics, Fashion & Textile Technologies, or Entrepreneurship & Retail.
You possess the following competencies: 

  • Commercial;
  • Analytical;
  • Result-oriented;
  • Proactive.
