Purchasing Intern

As a Purchasing Intern, you will support our Supply Chain department with various activities in the areas of purchasing, supplier management, inventory management, and process optimization. You will get the chance to work on daily operational processes as well as improvement projects.

During your internship, you will support the Supply Chain team with, among other things:

• Processing and following up on purchase orders.

• Maintaining contact with suppliers.

• Monitoring delivery times and delivery reliability.

• Analyzing inventory levels and orders.

• Identifying opportunities for improvement within purchasing and logistics processes.

• Preparing reports and analyses.

• Supporting projects focused on cost reduction and process improvement.

• Contributing ideas regarding the further digitalization of purchasing processes.

Depending on your studies and interests, there is room for a personal internship assignment.

1. You are following an MBO-4 or HBO education in the direction of:

   • Supply Chain Management

   • Logistics

   • Business Administration

   • Commercial Economics

   • Technical Business Administration

   • Or similar

2. You are accurate, proactive, and have strong communication skills.

3. You have an affinity for logistics, purchasing, or technology.

4. You can work well with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

5. You have a good command of the Dutch language. English is a plus.

• An internship allowance of €350,- gross per month;
