Solution Architect – Software & AI

As a Solution Architect at adesso, you help organizations translate their digital challenges into smart, future-proof software solutions. You understand the business and the question behind the question, develop a clear solution direction, and know how to bring both clients and development teams along with you.

You are involved from the very first conversation and look beyond just the technical solution. You recognize opportunities for our clients, think commercially, and use your expertise to help develop new assignments and long-term client relationships. As soon as an assignment starts, you remain responsible for the substantive and technical course. You therefore do not just design the solution, but work together with the team to ensure it is successfully realized.

AI is, in this regard, a natural part of how we work at adesso. You actively investigate where AI can add value for our clients and use AI to make your own work smarter and more effective. Not because AI is always the answer, but because you know what is possible and consciously choose the right technology.

And although you work much with and for clients, you always build from within adesso. You share knowledge and experiences with colleagues, contribute to our propositions, and bring opportunities and insights from the market back to the organization. No two days are the same, but your responsibilities include:

• Guiding clients through complex digitalization issues and translating them into concrete solutions and opportunities.

• Analyzing the question behind the question and guiding discovery workshops.

• Designing and presenting solution architectures in which software, cloud, data, and AI converge.

• Actively investigating where AI can add value within client processes, products, and solutions.

• Developing and advancing innovative propositions regarding software, cloud, and AI within adesso.

• Recognizing commercial opportunities with existing and new clients and further developing these together with colleagues.

• Supporting sales during client meetings, quotes, pitches, and tenders.

• Convincing clients with a substantively strong proposal and clear business value.

• Taking the technical lead as soon as a project starts.

• Guiding development teams and safeguarding the chosen architecture.

• Identifying new technological developments and translating these into concrete client value.

• Actively sharing knowledge, client insights, and best practices within adesso.

You are successful when clients see you as a trusted advisor: someone who understands their business, looks ahead technologically, and sees opportunities to create more value together.

You ensure that projects follow the correct technical course and that development teams can build from a clear architecture. At the same time, you look beyond today's assignment. You see where we can help a client further, bring in new ideas, and involve the right colleagues and expertise from adesso.

You are curious about what AI and new technology make possible and make this part of your daily way of working. You are just as persuasive in a boardroom as at a whiteboard with developers, and you switch effortlessly between business, commerce, and technology.
