Software Architect / Sr Software Engineer

• 5 to 10 years of work experience as a software engineer.

• Strong knowledge of Python.

• Experience with CI/CD.

• Experience with hardware integration.

• Experience in a professional engineering environment.

• You are available 30 to 38 hours per week.

• Experience in an architecture or design concept role.

• Experience with embedded development and/or C.

• A salary between € 6,000 and € 8,000 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience, based on a full-time employment of 38 hours per week, excluding 8% holiday allowance.

This role revolves around machine software: the software on and around our robots, including connections with other software, recognition models, and requirements engineering. This is emphatically not a cloud platform role, but a role in which your technical choices are directly visible in the machines we build.

In this role, you will work together with our systems engineers on smart, robust software solutions. You will contribute ideas regarding the software structure, ensure strong connections with hardware and other systems, and monitor quality as our organization continues to grow. You don't just see how software works, but especially how it can become even better, smarter, and more scalable.

• Together with the systems engineer, you translate machine requirements into a well-thought-out software design.

• You determine the software architecture and the connections with other systems.

• You develop and monitor coding guidelines.

• You set up CI/CD pipelines to automate releases and ensure software quality.

• You develop testing approaches that ensure a reliable codebase.

• You contribute ideas regarding our policy on AI, both in development and in our products.
