Build the data architecture upon which organizations can take their next steps in data and AI.
Do you want to help organizations build future-proof data platforms with Snowflake, Azure Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric and work in an ambitious Data & AI team?
At adesso, we are looking for a Data Platform Architect who looks beyond just technology. Someone who understands how architecture, data, cloud, and AI converge and who helps customers make the right choices in that regard.
As a Data Platform Architect, you are responsible for designing scalable, secure, and future-proof data architectures.
You advise customers on the architecture, implementation, and use of intelligent data solutions within the Snowflake AI Data Cloud, Azure Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric.
In doing so, you look beyond the platform itself. You translate business and data challenges into a technical architecture and determine together with the customer which technology, tooling, and way of working best fits.
You are the connecting link between strategy and execution. You can set up an architecture, but you also understand what is required to actually implement it.
· Designing scalable, secure, and future-proof data architectures;
· Advising customers on the deployment of Snowflake, Azure Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric;
· Translating business, data, and AI challenges into concrete technical architectures;
· Designing modern Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, and Data Platform architectures;
· Advising on data modeling and architectural principles, including Kimball and Data Vault;
· Determining architectural principles regarding security, governance, performance, scalability, and cost;
· Advising on the technological roadmap of the data platform;
· Supporting the selection and integration of tools, such as dbt, Dagster, Rflow, and Azure Data Factory, and implementing these on the data platform;
· Thinking along about CI/CD, DataOps, and Infrastructure as Code;
· Guiding Data Engineers and other technical specialists in the implementation of the chosen architecture;
· Sparring with stakeholders at both technical and strategic levels;
Collaborating with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, AI Engineers, and other specialists within our Data & AI te
For us, a good data platform is not an end goal. It is the foundation upon which organizations can build analytics, machine learning, and increasingly often AI and agentic applications.
Within our Data & AI team, we bring Data Engineering, Data Science, and AI together. As an architect, this means you don't just look at what data is being used for today, but also at what must be possible tomorrow.
We do not want to deploy technology just because it is new. We want to design architectures that are scalable and manageable and that actually deliver value to our customers.
As a Data Platform Architect, you will get plenty of room to provide direction. Not only for client projects, but also for how we further develop our Data & AI proposition within adesso.
You will join a growing Data & AI team in which you have a lot of influence on our technical direction.
Can you look beyond a single platform and do you get energy from the question of which data architecture best fits this organization? Then we would love to get in touch with you.
As far as we are concerned, you don't need to write a cover le
We would rather hear in writing which data platform you have designed, which choices you made in it, and what you would do differently in hindsight..
