Good communication skills and an excellent command of the Dutch language.
A proactive, customer-oriented, and result-oriented attitude.
The role
Climate change demands smart and sustainable solutions. Water nuisance, drought, and the climate-resilient design of our living environment are high on the agenda for water boards, provinces, municipalities, and property developers. As Project Leader Water Management and Climate Adaptation at WSP, you will play a key role in realizing these challenges.
As a project leader, you have a broad perspective on the connection between water and the design of rural and urban areas. You work within integrated project teams on challenges regarding water nuisance, water availability, drinking water, and nature restoration. As a project leader for, for example, stream restoration projects, you link the water challenge to WFD goals. And in urban areas, you know how to translate the impact of climate change into concrete solutions. You find it a challenge to brainstorm these solutions together with your colleagues and develop them into a feasible design.

Leading projects in the field of water management and integrated area development. Advising municipalities, water boards, provinces, and developers on climate-resilient solutions.
Providing specialist advice in the field of the sustainable design of the water system
Managing multidisciplinary project teams.
Monitoring planning, budget, quality, and risks.
Maintaining and expanding client relationships.
