The internship concerns a period of two months and will take place in the period between September and December 2026. The role

We are looking for a student intern for our Banking & Finance team in Amsterdam.

What you'll do

As a student intern within the Banking & Finance practice, you will be part of a dynamic legal practice from day one. You will work together with lawyers on diverse national and international financing transactions and will gain a good insight into the legal and commercial aspects of the financial sector.

During your internship, you will support the team with legal research, drafting and analyzing documentation and assisting with transactions. Additionally, you will attend meetings and will have the opportunity to actively contribute ideas regarding complex issues for banks, financial institutions, investors and companies.

Requirements

We are looking for an ambitious and curious student who is enthusiastic about complex financial and legal issues. You have a strong academic foundation, sharp analytical skills, good social intuition and a proactive attitude. Additionally, you work accurately, have strong communication skills and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment where collaboration is central.

You are pursuing a master's degree, preferably in the direction of corporate law, financial law or private law. Experience within the legal profession is not a requirement; we find motivation, eagerness to learn and interest in the international Banking & Finance practice more important.
