Civil Engineering Internship | Amsterdam-Utrecht

Within KWS Amsterdam-Utrecht, we have 10 to 15 internship positions available every six months. Do you want to work on large, visible infrastructure projects where you learn a lot in practice AND are part of a friendly team? Then this is your chance!

During your internship at KWS, you will participate alongside a leading specialist within infrastructure. Not a coffee intern, but real responsibilities, good guidance, AND plenty of room to develop yourself.

You can do an internship in various departments, such as:

• Design

• Execution

• Work preparation

• Laboratory

You work in a civil engineering environment where you increasingly take on tasks independently. You support projects, collect data, and assist with preparation and execution. In doing so, you work closely with project managers, site managers, and work planners. You will also be present at events for our entire branch. Think of branch meetings, annual gatherings, and special events for all interns within KWS.

When you come to intern at KWS, you will be given the space to take initiative AND to grow.

In addition, we offer you:

• An MBO or HBO internship*

• Number of hours is negotiable

• Working on cool and challenging civil engineering (GWW) projects

• An internship allowance of € 650,- gross per month based on a full-time work week

• Travel allowance.

*Suitable fields of study include infra, civil engineering, or technical business administration.

• Zuidasdok

• Schiphol

• Markermeer dikes

• Design, Calculation, and Sustainability Department KWS Diemen

• Road construction laboratory & Asphalt plant

• A44 realization

• Public transport hub Haarlem

• Major asphalt maintenance (e.g., Schagen and Hoorn)

• Various projects in Amsterdam, Zaanstad, and Haarlemmermeer
