Project Leader

As a Project Manager at Hollandia Services, you are responsible for successfully managing maintenance and renovation projects on bridges and locks. You manage both large and small projects and ensure that this essential infrastructure remains reliable and future-proof. Thanks to your commitment, the Netherlands remains safe and accessible.

In the coming years, the government faces a major challenge in renovating and replacing bridges, locks, and storm surge barriers. Because of this, your role as a Project Manager is essential. You work closely with your project team to successfully manage complex maintenance and renovation projects. From the Sint Nicolaasga location, you are responsible for one project team and play an important role in further expanding the location and securing new assignments, in collaboration with the Tendering department. Your further duties consist of:

• During the tender phase, you actively contribute your ideas, you contribute to the project plan, and you are also involved in the execution

• You further expand the Hollandia Services network within the industry

• The leadership of projects and the management of colleagues lies in your hands, both for the office and at the project location

• In addition, you have tasks such as: participating in construction meetings, project planning, budget management, risk management, and monitoring safety and quality

• Finally, you are responsible for the delivery, final documentation, and evaluation with the client

You are a decisive and connecting Project Manager who maintains an overview in complex projects and knows how to get people on board. You switch easily between technology, organization, and stakeholders and feel at home in an environment where quality, safety, and collaboration are central. Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following:

• A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering

• Contract forms and methodologies such as UAV-GC hold no secrets for you

• You have knowledge of methodologies such as Systems Engineering (SE) and the CE Machinery Directive

• Knowledge of steel construction and moving structures

Hollandia Services plays an important role in the maintenance and renovation of the Dutch infrastructure. With 200 technical experts, we maintain bridges, locks, and storm surge barriers. From our main office in Capelle aan den IJssel, Hollandia Services grew towards the North. The renovation of thirteen bridges and eleven locks in Flevoland opened the gateway to the North, and with the lock in Lemmer, we approached the border of Fryslân. Because there is a lot of work in this region, we opened our branch in Sint Nicolaasga (Sint Nyk), with local people who perform the work more easily and quickly nearby.

From Sint Nyk, we maintain and renovate bridges, locks, and storm surge barriers throughout the North, with a compact team and the strength of all of Hollandia behind us. We work closely with our colleagues in Krimpen aan den IJssel for the right expertise, on projects such as the Tsjerk Hiddes locks near Harlingen, the bridge at Engwierum, and various bridges and locks in Groningen. Thus, there is always a project that matches your knowledge and ambition.
