You bring overview and predictability to complex infrastructure projects and know what is required to make these projects a success. As a Project Control Manager, you work from your own vision toward concrete results on leading projects that move the Netherlands forward. Additionally, you grow together with, and through, a network of experienced managers and specialists.

Your job
As Project Control Manager, you are a full partner within the Integrated Project Management (IPM) team and play a key role in the successful acquisition and realization of complex, integrated projects. You ensure that everything surrounding scope, planning, finance, risks, opportunities, quality, information, and documentation is transparent. Thanks to your integrated perspective, the project team always has access to up-to-date, reliable, and concrete management information to make well-founded choices. Within your tender or project, you lead the project control team, bring various specialisms together, and ensure that processes, systems, and people work together optimally.

You are the connecting factor between the various control disciplines, such as risk management, Systems Engineering, planning, financial management, and quality management. In doing so, you look beyond the data alone. You signal deviations, recognize trends, monitor the quality and timely delivery of control products, and ensure that processes and systems are designed, applied, and continuously improved in a workable manner. Furthermore, you translate analyses into clear advice that allows the IPM team to actually move forward. With your coaching leadership style, you help colleagues take ownership and contribute to a culture in which we strengthen each other, share knowledge, and continuously improve.

The projects you work on are technically challenging, socially relevant, and often of great scale. Think of the major maintenance of roads and structures in the Northern Netherlands, the design and construction of the RDW test track in Marknesse, the reinforcement of the 380 kV connection between Krimpen and Breukelen, or the realization of tunnels in the A10 Amsterdam. Contract forms vary from UAV-GC to construction teams, and the project scale can rise to approximately 250 million euros. Precisely within this dynamic environment, you have the space within the project budget to make independent choices, including regarding the deployment of hours, costs, and systems. In doing so, you always keep the collective project result in mind and ensure that the project remains demonstrably in control.
