Project Control Manager

As Project Control Manager, you are integrally responsible for controlling complex projects within the IPM team at NuMeren. You ensure that projects proceed predictably and in a controlled manner regarding planning, finances, risks, quality, and scope.

You are a full member of the IPM core team and act as a sparring partner to project management in the field of project control. Additionally, you lead the Project Control team, consisting of several project coordinators, and ensure structure, overview, and cohesion within the project.

You bring risks into sharp focus, monitor quality requirements, and ensure that deviations are identified and corrected in a timely manner. Additionally, you are responsible for setting up and securing processes surrounding planning, finances, progress reporting, and risk management.

In short: you are the linchpin in controlling complex projects and ensure that everything behind the scenes is tightly organized, so that projects are successfully realized.

• Full-time basis with 25 vacation days plus 13 ATV days, 8% holiday allowance, and a good pension;

• A one-year contract, with a view to a permanent contract;

• HBO/WO working and thinking level with at least 5 years of experience in a comparable role. An assessment may be part of the application process;

• Demonstrable experience within IPM structures or integral project organizations, preferably in (underground) infra or area development;

• Experience with project control (planning, finances, risks, quality, and scope) and working in construction teams;

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with insight into the impact of choices on the total project;

• Experience with systems and methodologies for project control (such as risk management, planning, and progress reporting);

• Strong communication skills, decisive, and able to provide structure and maintain an overview.
