To strengthen our technical expert team in Gorinchem, we are looking for a driven

Project Manager.

As Project Manager, you are responsible for new projects from A to Z: end-to-end engineering, realization, (technical) quality, planning, delivery and aftercare, and profitability within budget and timing. You act as the person ultimately responsible and offer a flexible response regarding customer expectations. You oversee risk and claim management. Furthermore, you maintain customer satisfaction while keeping the financial objectives of the project in mind.

• You lead the project teams to realize timely installation and completion of projects within budget and according to specifications.
• You develop and maintain project implementation plans.
• You are responsible for the profitability of each project, and a positive cash flow. You provide insight into and input for the allocation of costs to financial reporting systems.
• You apply contractual terms and legal requirements with tact and respect the ethical standards of Johnson Controls in doing so.
• You proactively assess potential problems and take action to mitigate negative impact.
• You manage the procurement process of materials for the assigned projects.
• You ensure that the documentation is complete during the completion of the assignment.
• You ensure regular reporting on the state of affairs.
• You work closely with sales colleagues and with colleagues from other divisions.
• You coordinate the commissioning of the projects and the handover to the maintenance teams.
• You handle the follow-up and management of safety procedures (VCA-P).
• Where necessary, you organize customer training.
• You develop and maintain relationships with customers, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, you attend progress meetings, and act as an intermediary for installers and subcontractors.

• You have completed (at least) a higher professional education (HBO) level.
• Preferably, you have completed additional project management training (IPMA; PMT; Prince2 etc.).
• You have relevant work and technical experience, preferably gained in control engineering for high-end commercial building construction.
• You have a strong affinity with building-related mechanical processes.
• You speak the language of building automation and IT.
• You have extensive experience in project and contract management.
• You possess good PC skills (MS-Office, MS-Visio, MS-Project).
• You speak fluent Dutch and have a good knowledge of English (spoken and written).
• You possess a driving license (category B).
