HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of working and thinking.
A completed education in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or similar.
Knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems.
Interest in software development within technical installations.
Strong communication skills.

The role

As a Software Engineer within the Industrial Automation discipline, you are co-responsible for performing tasks within technical projects. You are part of a project team and contribute to diverse projects, ranging from advisory and design to programming and commissioning. In doing so, you contribute to the realization of software and the execution of engineering activities within various project phases.

What you'll do

Concretely, this means:

Supporting the Lead Engineer in the execution of engineering projects.
Drafting parts of application designs and functional designs.
Realizing software based on technical designs.
Testing and commissioning (sub)installations.
Completing punch list items and producing (final) documentation.
Performing on-call duties.

Additional information

You are curious, eager to learn, and have a passion for technology and software. You love analyzing problems and coming up with solutions that truly make a difference. Do you have experience with Siemens (Step 7, WinCC OA) or Citect? Then that is a plus, but not a requirement.
